Readings are important part of the certification exams, that do not represent part of the theoretical knowleadge or professional activity of a tourist guide. Candidates registered for the Certification Exams willl have access to documents such as European standard of tourist guide training, Code of Conduct of Tourist Guides of Georgia, founding documents of Sakartvelo’s Certified Guides Association. Texbook of tourist guide skills and other important reading material.
How to prepare for written exams?
Written certification exams are of two kind. One is multiple choice quesion paper and the other one is so called open qustion written exam. Registered candidates will be able to practive online for both exams in the online classroom. For multiple choice questions there will be short quizes and mock exam papers. As for written exam practice candidates will be able to send their answers to sample questions to their tutors and receive feedback online.
How to prepare for practical exams?
Practical exams are three kind: walking tour, indoor site tour and transport (or panorama) tour exams. Registered candidates will have an opportunity to practice with their tutors, receive their feedback and advise. During exam simulations candidates will be able to dip into the necessary details during and conditions with actual exams.
